Something about me......

Robin Coates is an imaginative digital illustrator and graphic designer who is driven by an incredible passion for helping others through her artwork and design.  She was born in 1964 in a small college town in Louisiana and was raised on the swamps of Tickfaw River.  She grew up studying with her Aunt Linda as she watched her paint realist oils of the Louisiana bayous, magnolias, wildlife, and antebellum homes.  Robin is from a family with generations of creative members with each person holding a special talent in the arts or sciences. 

Robin's works are often noted for their unique style, elegance, and technique. Working in the printing industry for over 30 years, she has seen commercial art transform from ad-slicks and paste-ups, to computer generated books and magazines.  She has developed an innovative style that blends her notable talent and her discerning character.  Each art file viewed on this site has been copyrighted and published, or printed, in some form of advertising media.  Rob is an accomplished award-winning artist with a delightful gathering of experience in medias for every genre.  Her artwork and designs cover signs, billboards, the Mobile Press-Register, t-shirts, business cards, brochures & postcards, 'Zalea Magazine, window fronts, home & office walls, cars, boats, the Mobile Police Department Motorcade, and all across the Gulf Coast. 

Rob has a deep passion for gathering her customer's vision before she begins a new design.  She creates commercial works and spontaneously communicates the vision of her clientele for the promotion of their endeavor.

Robin is a professional artist full-time for her freelance company Robzart Graphics.  She is the Gulf Coast Chapter President for the National Association of Professional Women and has a great desire to help women who are launching new businesses.  She currently holds the winning design (third year) for the Azalea Trail Run 10K Poster/Tshirt Design.  She is the mother of two sons; Ryker, who recently became a teenager, and Rane, who is studying at the University of South Alabama majoring in BioMedical Sciences. 

Robin lives on Paradise Hill in Wilmer, Alabama with her soon-to-be husband Sammy, and their Doberman, Vinny.
